Where is the Seminary located?
The Ailbe Seminary is an online learning center. The Fellowship of Ailbe, which sponsors The Ailbe Seminary, has its base of operations in Essex Junction, Vermont.
Are the courses self-paced or conducted according to an academic calendar?
Students can enroll in any course at any time. Once you have enrolled, you will have 90 days to complete the course. Each time you return to the course for a lesson, you will be advised how many more days are left for you to finish the course. Your Course Reader will also help you keep on pace to finish your course in a timely manner.

Are courses free of charge?
All courses and programs are free of charge. Most of the course materials in the courses are also free and available as PDF downloads. Some courses will include required reading materials that must be purchased from The Ailbe Bookstore.
How do I enroll in a certificate program?
There is no need formally to apply or enroll in a Certificate program. We will keep track of the course you take and advise you from time to time concerning which courses you might like to enroll in next toward one or another of our Certificate programs. Your Certificate will be issued upon successful completion of all the courses in your program.
